I’m Pretty Sure It Doesn’t Work That Way (It Never Did For Me, At Least)

Over the years I’ve watched a lot of people self-destruct.  Sometimes they do it quickly, sometimes slowly, sometimes they pull out of it, and sometimes they . . . don’t.  One commonality I’ve noticed though is they all seem to approach it like they’re trying to reach a quota of destroying enough good things in their life so they can “earn” happiness.
